🎮 How to Play

• Press Space/↑ or tap the screen to jump
• Press Space/↑ twice for a double jump (jump higher)
• Press ↓ while airborne for a fast fall (descend faster)
• Avoid all obstacles — small cactus, large cactus, double cactus, and pterodactyl
• Game speed increases over time — watch the speed indicator
• Game starts automatically with a 3-2-1 countdown

💡 Tips & Tricks

• Master the double jump + fast fall combo for full control over your jump trajectory
• Small cactus only needs a regular jump, double cactus requires an earlier jump
• During the night transition, focus on the bottom of the screen where obstacles appear
• The faster the game gets, the earlier you need to react
• When the screen flashes (milestone), don't panic — stay focused on obstacles

📜 History of Dino Run

The Chrome dinosaur game (T-Rex Runner) was created by the Google Chrome team — Sebastien Gabriel (design), Alan Bettes, and Edward Jung (development) — in September 2014. The game appears automatically when Chrome can't connect to the internet, featuring a T-Rex dinosaur in a desert landscape.

The design was inspired by the prehistoric era — as if the internet hadn't been "invented" yet. The dinosaur was chosen to symbolize the era before modern technology. Initially just a static image, the Chrome team decided to make it interactive as a fun Easter egg.

Since its launch, the game has been played approximately 270 million times per month worldwide. This number spikes dramatically during mass internet outages. Available on all Chrome platforms — desktop, Android, and iOS — making it one of the most accessible games in the world.

T-Rex Runner proved that a moment of frustration (losing internet connection) can be turned into a positive experience. This philosophy has since inspired many developers to add Easter eggs and mini games in unexpected places.
